Epic Elliptical Trainer Review

Epic is a recent entry into the elliptical trainer market.  Manufactured by Icon Health and Fitness primarily for Costco stores.  Originally manufactured and distributed under the Reebok brand, Icon Health and Fitness has rebranded these treadmills and elliptical trainers into the Epic and Nordic Track lines.  However, the Epic machine price is 30% lower and the warranty is not as extensive as the warranty that comes with the Reebok branded line.

Ordering a workout machine online is always a risk, mainly due to quality and set up, however, consumers note the machine has arrived in great condition, parts complete and ease in putting the machines together. I suggest you read some elliptical machines reviews for more information about the elliptical that you are going to buy.

Epic EL 2980 Elliptical Trainer

If you are looking for a new addition to your home gym, this beautiful, sleek and stylish, Epic EL 2980, has updated technology, a stainless steel glide track, and upgraded bushings.  Consumers note the comfortable operation of the Epic EL 2980 makes this a great choice for users looking for a heavy-duty elliptical.

Top of the line perks like the iFit® Fitness Journal, 24 preprogrammed workouts, compatible Music Port for iPod®, generous 20″ stride length and accurate BodyPulse™ Heart Rate Monitor.  The Epic EL 2980 Elliptical trainer is exactly what you need to stay on track to accomplish your workout goals.

Consumers have many things to consider when purchasing an Elliptical.  Most consumers choose Epic because of the low price point.  While some of the machines in the Epic line include better elliptical features such as a power incline, console fans, a multitude of workout programs, a longer 18’ stride, however, most of the machines provide average features and parts.  So, Epic ellipticals are affordable for the budget conscious, but fitness pros agree you don’t get as much machine for your money and suggest you consider purchasing an elliptical machine from either the Nordic Track or Schwinn brands.  If you are interested in a commercial level machine, Pros suggest you consider the Sole line of ellipticals.
